“Mediterraneo” (Maritime Scenes) is a limited-edition collaboration between Micòl Ceramics and Tatjana Krizmanic featuring impressionistic seascapes on a variety of porcelain vessels. Both Micòl and Tatjana grew up on the Mediterranean, and this new work is an expression of their shared love for the sea.
The first limited edition of 8 vessels is titled La Regata and recalls Tatjana’s painting “Boat Race”.
Tatjana’s freeform strokes, evoking her native Croatia, are painted directly onto Micòl’s skillfully-crafted porcelain shapes to create truly unique works of art.
They have carefully selected the ideal glazes and colors for each of these one-of-a-kind porcelain pieces.
